God Bless the Broken Road

This movie is a must-watch. It’s a movie about stock car racing, and a young mother who loses her husband in Afghanistan. If the summary doesn’t excite you, just wait till you hear who the director is. Harold Cronk, who also directed movies such as God’s Not Dead, God’s Not Dead 2, and the Mickey Matson movies, is the director of this film.

The Case for Christ

This movie, based on the true story of Lee Strobel, is one of the most highly anticipated Christian films of 2017. Named after the acclaimed book written by Strobel, the movie explores his battle and ultimate discover of faith, through the eyes of a critical journalist. The movie is also to be released by Pure Flix.

To be released by Pure Flix Entertainment on April 7th, 2017.

Fourth World

The Fourth World is a movie produced by Bring Me Hope, a Christian organization dedicated to bringing the hope of Christ to the 17.6 million orphans in the world today. The movie follows a young filmmaker as he explores and discovers the Fourth World, a place rarely in the public’s eye. Notably, the lead actor, Andrey Cheney, plays the lead in the revolutionary film Beyond the Mask.

To be released by Bring Me Hope sometime in 2017.

Genesis in 3D

This film is one to get excited about. Backed by Answers in Genesis, Genesis in 3D is a computer animated documentary  that visually explores the Biblical account of creation, from the beginning. The documentary actually was launched via crowdfunding, and greatly exceeded its original goal. The release date has been pushed back a lot, but the film should be released in theaters in 2017.

To be released by Sevenfold Films in 2017.


Beyond the Darkness

This film, a Christian fantasy movie that depicts the spiritual battles we fight everyday, is set to be released on DVD around Easter 2016.  Secondly Magazine actually had the chance to catch up with the director, Danny Carrales. See the Entertainment page for more info!
